Often people use lack of creativity as an excuse to steer clear of any arts and crafts related hobbies. Almost every art starts out as a craft and very few people can start out being good at crafts. Crafts require skills and skills are gained through repetition and practice. Here at the La Crosse Clay Center we teach you the basic skills that you need to have in order to practice and improve. Our first pots look just like everyone else’s first pots. They were messy. Then we practiced, and we practiced because we fell in love with the process. Fall in love with the process with us. Creativity will come with time as you develop the skills!
