Pottery Classes

At La Crosse Clay Center, we offer pottery classes in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.  Class sizes range from 4-10 people. Our classes run for 6 consecutive weeks, and meet once a week for two hours.  Tuition is $185 and includes your first 25 pound loaf of clay, and 30 minutes of studio time before and after the class.  When signing up for the class, you may opt to add on a Student Membership.  This is an extra $35 and allows a current student to use the studio during all open business hours, and runs for the duration of the class. One Time Class

Our One Time Class is great for date nights, a night out with friends, family fun, corporate outings, and more.  It is also perfect for those who are curious about pottery, but aren’t quite ready to commit to a 6 week session.  This is a one time, 90-minute lesson.  You’ll have fun getting your hands dirty and experiencing what it’s like to throw on the wheel, while the instructor helps you to create your own unique pieces.  Each person is allowed to keep two pots from the class, and may keep more for $5 a piece.  At the end of the class, students will pick out their glaze colors and are able to pick up their finished pots in 2-3 weeks.  These classes can range from 2 to 10 people.

Tuition is $35/person and includes all materials and first two take home pieces.

Classes are scheduled by appointment.
